She died this Monday morning, aged 83, Aracy Balabanian.
The actress, diagnosed with lung cancer at the end of last year, was hospitalized in Rio de Janeiro.
Aracy Balabanian has not been seen in an unprecedented project since 2019 when she participated in TV Globo’s year-end special. Born in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, she debuted 1965 on TV Tupi and has been divided between screens and platforms since then.
In 2018, she appeared in “Malhação: Vidas Brasileiras.”
On the last 19th, the soap opera “Locomotivas,” from 1977, premiered on GloboPlay, where the actress was one of the protagonists. She became well known for her character Cassandra on the program “Sai de Baixo,” and Rede Globo.
